Draa Lamp
Light held inside a dune.
A floor lamp whose shade is a single printed shell, thin enough to glow. The light source sits low inside the form and rises through walls that thicken and thin according to a wind model, so the lamp is brightest where the dune would be steepest.

Design inspiration
A draa is the largest form a dune can take, a whole hill of sand with smaller dunes moving across it. The lamp is scaled to stand in a room the way a draa stands in a desert, as the thing everything else is measured against. It is lit warm and dimmed low.
